ThunderHaul™ is EHAULA’s proprietary electric driveline and control platform—engineered to transform standard trailers and dollies into high-performance hybrid-electric assets.
By combining advanced Through-The-Road (TTR) control systems with seamless integration to existing diesel prime movers, ThunderHaul™ enables operators to cut fuel consumption, boost payload capacity, and accelerate toward zero-emission targets, without replacing equipment before their planned end of service life.
Developed and tested in Australia, ThunderHaul™ is purpose-built for the nation’s most demanding freight environments, from outback mining routes to high-productivity highway combinations.

Links directly with the prime mover via dedicated CAN communication, delivering intelligent torque assistance and regenerative braking.

High-Performance eAxle Drivetrain
Up to 600 kW (~800 hp) and 56,900 Nm torque output via multi speed transmission.

Modular Design for eTrailer or eDolly Configurations
Compatible with a wide range of trailer layouts and designed for any GCM rating. Note - large combinations beyond 240 t GCM are possible but coupling upgrades might also be required.

Seamless Energy Integration
Fully compatible with EHAULA’s LightningVault™ battery packs through our proprietary battery swap interface.

Adaptive Drive Control
One-foot driving with power blending and energy recuperation during deceleration; ISO 26262-aligned safety architecture.
