Our Team
Expertise Driving the Future of Electric Haulage
At EHAULA, our strength lies in the depth and diversity of our team.
We combine advanced engineering expertise, commercial strategy, and a deep understanding of Australia’s heavy vehicle sector to deliver practical, high-performance solutions for freight electrification.
Together, our leadership team brings decades of experience in mechanical and electrical design, control systems, and strategic governance, united by one vision: to decarbonise Australia’s heavy transport industry through innovation that works on the road, not just in theory.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dr Joshua Allwright
Dr Joshua Allwright leads EHAULA’s strategic and technical direction, bringing his experience in electric powertrain design, heavy vehicle dynamics, and Performance-Based Standards (PBS).
Holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering focused on electric powertrain modelling for High Productivity Freight Vehicles (HPFVs), Joshua has led numerous research and commercial programs advancing Australia’s transition to electric and hybrid heavy transport.
Before founding EHAULA, he worked as Senior Mechanical Engineer at Tiger Spider, where he specialised in PBS compliance, ADR compliance, structural design and vehicle testing. He also continues to serve as an SAE Advisor at Swinburne University, mentoring future engineers to build 4WD electric race cars.
Joshua combines technical leadership with a pragmatic understanding of Australia’s freight landscape, ensuring every EHAULA solution meets the dual test of engineering excellence and commercial viability.
FINANCIAL DIRECTOR / COMPANY SECRETARY
Jerome Coleman
Jerome Coleman oversees EHAULA’s financial governance, partnerships, and strategic development.
A Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA) with over 25 years of executive experience, Jerome has served as Chief Executive Officer and CFO across major public and private organisations, including ForestrySA and the Port of Portland.
He brings extensive experience in financial modelling, business analytics, governance, and investment strategy, complemented by strong relationships across government, infrastructure, and industry sectors.
Jerome’s leadership ensures EHAULA maintains financial integrity, robust risk management, and sustainable growth as it scales to meet Australia’s freight decarbonisation goals.
ELECTRICAL & SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Bradley Reed
Bradley Reed is a skilled electrical and control systems engineer driving EHAULA’s software and hardware integration.
With a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, Bradley specialises in high-voltage systems, firmware design, and advanced control logic for electric drivetrains.
Before joining EHAULA, Bradley contributed to R&D programs at the Aerostructures Innovation Research (AIR) Hub and Bask Aerospace, and led the design and manufacture of a 4WD fully electric Formula SAE race car as Chief Engineer for Team Swinburne.
His hands-on expertise in battery management systems (BMS), CAN communication, and electric vehicle control architectures underpins EHAULA’s commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and high-performance systems for Australia’s heavy freight market.
OUR PARTNERS
Collaboration That Drives Innovation
EHAULA partners with leading engineering firms, trailer manufacturers, and technology suppliers to bring our electric systems from design to deployment.
Through strategic collaborations with specialists in Performance-Based Standards (PBS), component manufacturing, and thermal management, we ensure every system we deliver meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance.
Together with our partners, we’re building a national ecosystem that supports the electrification of Australia’s freight transport network.
